Certified Fitness Instructor
Welcome!
Thank you for visiting my site!
I'm Jacqueline K.ossiwa T, a certified group fitness instructor accredited by the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Although I was born in Ghana, I was raised in Zurich, Switzerland, and have spent the past few years living in four different cities across the US, the EU, and Africa.
In addition to my role as a DE&I Specialist for a global firm, I am deeply passionate about fitness and work as a freelance fitness instructor. My offerings include online and outdoor fitness classes, centered around the philosophy of "Your Body is Your Gym," emphasizing workouts that require no equipment and are therefore suitable for all fitness levels.
The core principles of my approach encompass body strength, balance, endurance, flexibility, posture, breathing, and mindfulness.
My fitness journey....
At 10, I discovered my passion for sports, excelling in short-distance running, basketball, and track and field. I competed in various athletic events across Switzerland throughout my youth.
From 2009 to 2013, I served as a police officer, becoming the first woman of African descent on the force and one of the few female assistant coaches. I also represented the Police Multi-Events Swiss National Team.
After moving to the U.S. in 2013, I competed in track and field for City College of San Francisco, participating in the Long Jump and Heptathlon at the California Community College Championships in 2014 and 2015.
With 15 years of experience in fitness and athletics, I became a certified fitness instructor to share my expertise.
My fitness offerings
Presently, I provide inclusive online and in-person fitness classes suitable for all fitness levels. Drawing upon my experience as an athlete and the technical expertise gained through my studies, my classes integrate a holistic approach to physical well-being.
Thank you for stopping by, and I eagerly anticipate welcoming you to my classes.
Stay fit and healthy,
Your coach Jacqueline
